MANI JASSAL Yorkville Launch Event with ELLE Canada

Ending 2018 off with a BANG! Earlier this week, the Mani Jassal Team partnered with ELLE Canada to welcome our new home in Yorkville village.

A milestone for our young brand, the event celebrated the opening of our largest showroom to date in the heart of Toronto’s luxury fashion neighbourhood, Yorkville. With support from ELLE Canada, Toronto Fashion Week and Re\Set, we were able to share our joy with our Canadian Fashion Industry family!

The space was unrecognizable as decor teams Opulent Event Designs, The Decor Dolls & Art and Home Decor TO joined forces to transform our showroom into a dreamy escape.

The dangling tassels mixed with hints of garden vibes fits right at home with the Mani Jassal Brand. A perfect way to set the mood for the party to come!

Guests Arrive!

Guests were treated to an assortment of desserts courtesy of Wake & Bake. The menu consisted of Falooda Mousse, Coconut Truffles, French Vanilla Panna Cotta, Lavender Milk Chocolate Entremet (Mousse Cake), and many more!

A magical garden, Wake & Bake's Signature Watermelon Magic Stick Lollies were placed throughout the showroom for guests to pick and enjoy.

Alongside desserts & drinks, cocktail hour included a photobooth courtesy of Polar Ice Photobooth where guests were given the opportunity to take pictures, create gifs, and record boomerangs! A static presentation of Mani Jassal’s latest ‘free spirit’ collection was also on display. Simone Otis of P1M Artist Management dressed the models in a natural makeup look. Models were also decorated with gold foil hairstyles created by Redken Hair.

Before the party kicked off, Mani Jassal was treated to a well deserved speech by her dear friend and Brand Ambassador KayRay. Friends & family listened on and supported the young designer during the touching moment.

Music by DJ Envy set the tone for a night of mingling, drinking, and of course, dancing!

It isn't a party without an “Impromptu” dance performance! Toronto's Desi Drag Queen, Humzer, treated guests to one of his fabulous performances.

Following Humzer’s performance, the dance floor was ready to go! A memorable night, we’d like to thank all guests, collaborators, and the Mani Jassal Team for making this night a reality. With 2018 coming to an end, we only hope for bigger and better things to come!
